Just a Facebook conversation with my friend, turned philosophical brilliance.
“So. The Bible talks about how the angels were singing in heaven before the earth was created. So, music has been happening for all of eternity. Before time. Before us. So I believe it’s the one gift we have that lets us connect to eternity and God with our souls like no other thing can. When we hear music and feel chills, we’re experiencing eternity. Experiencing God. It’s just my favorite thing on earth. I love women, and beer, and the mountains, but music does something for my soul that nothing else can do.” -James
